This hotel in Königswinter is an old building with a vintage appeal that has been renovated from the inside, creating a charming atmosphere. It is perfectly situated close to the main walking area and offers easy access to shops and restaurants. The owner and staff were extremely helpful and attentive, always ready to answer questions and assist with any requests. The rooms were neat and cozy, with a beautiful view of the river and mountains. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of high-quality deli meats, cheeses, cereals, and fruit salads. Additionally, the hotel's location in the town center is convenient for exploring the area.
All aspects of my stay at this hotel were more than satisfactory.

Great value stay. Very comfortable. Spotless. Bed and Breakfast hotel in beautiful Koningswinter. Free fast wifi. Staff were helpful. Had appointments on south side of Bonn. Driving from this hotel much faster than staying in Bonn. A great discovery after many trips to the area where mainstream hotels are generally overpriced.
No lift. No problem for me, but might be for others. Public transport infrequent in the evenings, taxis in Bonn are expensive. That's why I needed my car.

Nice clean room with very decent toilet facilities, lovely surroundings (near the Rhein river) and the friendliest staff possible.
Downside is the parking space, limited at best

The hotel was in a great location, with easy access to public transportation and the river. It was also close to major cities like Bonn and Cologne, making it perfect for exploring the area. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding, and our room was extremely comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find mineral water and chocolates waiting for us in the room. the breakfast provided was delicious and well presented.
The hotel's interior design and furnishings felt a bit outdated and cluttered. While it gave the place a homely feel, it may not be to everyone's taste.

The rooms were pleasant, clean and well serviced. The staff were cheerful and helpful. The breakfast was good on the whole.
Steep stairs; no bar or other rest facilities; no reception during long periods of the day;a gloomy breakfast room;no fresh hot food at breakfast after 7.30 so the boiled eggs were cold; a persistent smell of smoke.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Koenigswinter. the location was perfect as it was right in the town center, close to a busy pedestrian area. This meant that I could easily explore the local attractions and restaurants without having to travel far. Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. They even spoke English, which was a relief for someone like me who struggles with German. Lastly, the room was clean and comfortable, with a TV for entertainment. It was just what I needed for a relaxing stay.
Everything was great.

The Haus Hindenburg was centrally situated in Koenigswinter, convenient for shopping, trams, river boats, sea life centre etc. There is a terrace on the roof for sunbathing and reading and general relaxation with superb views. The buffet breakfasts were amazing with a huge choice and the coffee was really nice which IS amazing for a hotel!

The rooms were well presented with a living area and bedroom. the breakfast included a great selection of fresh bread, cheeses, hams, eggs, fruits and salads. the location was excellent as it was only a short walk away from the central station and many popular sites to visit.
There was no lift so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs which was quite a hassle. the Wi-Fi wouldn't reconnect if disconnected and required the staff to fix the issue.
